Coffee in NYC - My Favorite Spots

Sure, it’s all about the aesthetic nowadays, and yes, I’ll admit that I am a sucker for anything that is aesthetically pleasing. (If we’re being real honest, I find my next coffee shop via Instagram because that is The Hub of Aesthetically Pleasing Places.)

But also, hello??! Coffee, coffee, coffee!

.

I’ve lived in Brooklyn for almost a year and I have finally found the coffee shops that just make me think, Oh, yeah, I’m in Brooklyn and this is amazing. I love a good latte (mocha with oat milk, pls!) and a nice aesthetically pleasing vibe–if you see my Instagram, you know that I love coffee and pretty things and that is just…who I am.

With that being said, let me show you some of my favorites:

-

Partner’s Coffee

125 N 6th St, Brooklyn, NY 11249

This place was once known as Toby’s Estate and I went here only twice when it was still under this name. I ordered a mocha latte and a banana bread with cream cheese (?) frosting (I think that’s what it was… I don’t remember. It was so delicious and I ate it so fast, I couldn’t really tell.)

As far as I know, they still have their antique decor hanging on the walls and placed meticulously on shelves and that makes you think, Oh yes this is Brooklyn.

-

Old Rose

113 Jane St, New York, NY 10014

Old Rose is inside The Jane Hotel (which, to be honest, gave me serious Tipton Hotel vibes…) - there’s a doorman who greets you and some weird but good and wholesome aura that takes over your body when you walk in. You can’t help but think, Oh this is the Suite Life.

(Ha. Get it.)

This place has been on my list (thanks, Instagram!) for almost 2 years. Seriously! I finally went there a week ago to celebrate my birthday and I was such a happy gal. This place is more for brunch, but the coffee is still amazing. Go here and get yourself a mocha latte. 10/10 recommend.

Woops!

548 Driggs Ave, Brooklyn, NY 11211

This place is…. everything. Not only have they *nailed* the aesthetic with plants and the big, open windows and the dainty white chairs, but also the coffee! The waffles! The macaroons!

There are many Woops! Bakeshop locations, but this one in Williamsburg is hands down the best, in my opinion.

Here are some other spots. I apologize for the lack of decor photos but

Blue Bottle Coffee

76 N 4th St Store A, Brooklyn, NY 11249

See more on their Instagram.

TB Coffee House

578 Myrtle Ave, Brooklyn, NY 11205

In my opinion, this is the best coffee shop in Brooklyn. Not only is it a short-ish walk from my apartment, but it’s in a nice area. The lattes are good. The croissants are good. The place is so aesthetically pleasing that it hurts. I’m truly obsessed with this place!
